Welcome to Jonathon Hill
Woodwind Repair and Restoration based in Oxford

About Me

I look after the woodwind family and have a well established restoration business whish has progressed into a sophisticated workshop/studio complex.  It was started in the 1980s and many professional musicians have come to know and use me.

I am a professional clarinettist and guitarist having studied at the Royal Academy of Music, so I have a particular insight into repair and restoration along with my enigneering knowledge.

Perfection is the name of the game.

I have worked with the best in England and was trained by Ted Planas, one of Europe's finest accousticians.

I have taught since 1973 at both state and private schools. Working at Abingdon School, Fitzharry's, St Nicholas Primary School and Our Lady's Convent.
